My approach
I am an English therapist based in Normandy. I have over 10 years experience working with individuals, couples and groups. I provide a safe, non judgemental and supportive space to listen to your difficulties, explore your situation together and help you find your way forward.
I work from an integrative approach which means I use a variety of helpful skills and tools in our work together, for example, to help you overcome fears, cope with anxiety, build confidence and communicate your needs effectively.

My Experience and Specialism
I have always loved working with people and feel lucky that I have been able to work in roles that have enabled me to support others within their journey’s of learning and personal development. I trained and worked as a teacher after gaining a range of experience within different sectors of health and social care including mental health, learning disability, physical disability, older people and individuals and families with neurological conditions.

I have supported those who have experienced all kinds of difficulties including:

coping with change and loss
anxiety and depression
bereavement
sexuality and identity
relationship and communication difficulties
work related stress
loneliness and isolation

Neurological Conditions and Carers
I have set up and run a online counselling service for an MS charity which allowed me to develop an area of specialism in Multiple Sclerosis and other neurological conditions such as ME, Parkinson’s and Dementia. This also included supporting carers look after their loved ones at home. I have run groups for carers in helping to understand and coping with Dementia and how to keep self care.
