I am originally from Ireland and trained as a counsellor
/psychotherapist there. I did my accreditation with the Irish
Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I am now
registered with the British Association of Counsellors and
Psychotherapists.
Group work:
I facilitate a weekly support group for antenatal and postnatal
mothers here in Paris. Parenting can be challenging sometimes and
can contribute to low mood or feelings of anxiety. This group
offers a supportive environment in these circumstances.
Approach:
My approach is integrative. Depending on the client's needs I will
draw on various therapeutic techniques such as person centred,
humanistic, psychodynamic and CBT etc. My approach is designed to
explore all perspectives with you to overcome issues of the past and
present, enabling you to develop and progress presently. I
understand that this can be a challenging experience and I offer a
safe environment for sessions to take place.
Areas of experience include:
Anxiety/ fear, stress, emotional/ behavioural difficulties,
depression, loss/ bereavement, self-esteem/ confidence, trauma,
personal development, family issues, expatriate life/ cultural
adjustment.

I offer a free 15 minute consultation to discuss your needs and
answer questions. Sessions are 50 minutes and can be held online or
in person.
