I
have a wealth of knowledge and experience that spans
over 20 years working within the National Health Service
in a number of roles that include, Nurse, Counsellor and
Manager. I have specialised in the area of Women’s
Health, Sexual Health, Young people and hard to reach
communities.
My
career to date has led me to counsel clients from a
variety of ethnic, cultural, religious and sexual
orientated backgrounds.
My
personal life has been rich but not without its
challenges and whilst training to become a counsellor
and having my own therapy, the process enabled me to
come to terms with certain aspects in my life and find
an acceptance within.
Person Centred Counselling has enabled me to build a
unique relationship with clients to come to terms with
difficulties in their lives and work through them by
locating the tools within.
