I have worked extensively in England as a BACP accredited person-centred counsellor/psychotherapist, for different associations, EAPs, doctors’ surgeries and privately. I have many years experience as a supervisor of other practitioners, and as a trainer on Graduate Counselling courses.

At present I work in France (32) as a counsellor/psychotherapist (privately), as a supervisor for both English and French practitioners, as a trainer for ACP-France (Person-centred approach-France) and as a facilitator on encounter and personal development groups (French and English).

I have a private practice in Le Gers 32, offering face to face, phone and Skype counselling to adults, couples and adolescents who are suffering from specific problems, or who just need to understand themselves/others/situations better.

The sessions offer a confidential space, a safe and private environment where one can openly discuss and explore issues, therefore opening the possibility for a better wellbeing. This can be on a short term or long term basis, and it will be for you to decide in relation to your needs.

Over the years, I have worked with people suffering from:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Panic attacks
  • Stress
  • Relationships
  • Eating disorders
  • Marital problems
  • Addictions (drugs, alcohol)
  • Bereavement
  • Loss and grief
  • End of life
  • Lack of confidence, self-esteem
  • Self harming
  • Changes and transitions
  • Phobias and Obsessions
  • Mental and/or Physical abuse
  • Sexual identity
  • Traumas

I do abide by the BACP Code for best practice and by the French Association for Psychotherapy Code of Ethics. I work both in English and in French.

I also offer a sliding fee scale (this can be discussed during the first session)

I offer SUPERVISION (English and French)
I have a long experience in supervising other practitioners, and would like to offer supervision either face to face, or through telephone or skipe.
The supervision sessions are normally for 1.30hr, although it will be for you to decide in relation to your needs.

I am also organising and facilitating encounter and personal development groups in the area (32). Those are residential groups, happening over a weekend at low cost.

All my therapeutic work, whether it is in individual sessions, in supervision and in training/groupwork, articulates itself around the person-centred approach. I mean by this that I see and recognise the person as the centre of their own experience, as their own expert; as a human being who, within a supportive environment, will be able to find her/his own meanings, understanding, solutions, a way forward.

I am there to offer this supportive environment based on trust, respect, genuineness and accompany you in your explorations, regardless of culture, age, gender, sexual orientation and religion.

I trained at the University of East Anglia, on the post-graduate Diploma in person-centred counselling/psychotherapy, completed a Master in Counselling research and trained as a Supervisor with Cruse.

I recognize that professional and personal development is on-going. Therefore I have and do take part in different workshops, so to deepen my therapeutic understanding and practice.

I am also interested in the research aspect of the practice and the results of my master have been published in “Spirituality and Counselling” (Moore and Purton-2006-PPC Books)
