I hold a supervision
certificate in individuals and group work
(existential and Adlerian approaches) and am
happy to Skype. I also mentor new counsellors.
Up until redundancy from the NHS I was running
the therapeutic services for Cambridgeshire NHS
substance misuse with a team of 15 therapists in
training of the PhD Msc. & diplomas.
I'm 13 years BACP
Accredited and have worked in and around the
mental health and addiction fields for over 15
years. In this time in I have progressed from my
Gestalt Psychotherapy beginnings to a Systemic
Family Therapist and incorporated and
assimilated many other disciplines such as Brief
Solution Focused, Transaction Analysis and many
others to define my bespoke therapeutic
approach.
I have been running my private practice for both
therapy clients and clinical supervision
throughout this time, whilst also working for
the Prison Service-RAPT, Addaction, & Inclusion
(NHS).
More recently I have been managing a team of 15
counsellors and been the Family Lead for the
county of Cambridgeshire Substance Misuse
Services. I have a passion for understanding the
dynamics created between us, attachment issues
and the repairing of the bonds with our loved
ones. |
